	The opening of the office in Dubai significantly strengthens TSL’s long-standing presence in the Middle East region, increasing the local and regional opportunities for the company’s systems integration and professional products divisions.

Colin Sherriff General Manager TSL Middle East Based in Dubai. TSL appointed Colin Sherriff as General Manager, Middle East in July 2008. Sherriff has held key broadcast technology positions in the region including Senior Manager Service and Support for Sony Professional Solutions ME, Director of Technology, Al Jazeera International and Vice President of Engineering, TAJ TV. Prior to moving to Dubai in 2001, he lived in Singapore where he worked for ESPN Star Sports and Star TV in Hong Kong. His experience provides TSL with strong representation within the region allowing the company to build on relationships with existing and find new customers for both TSL’s Systems Integration and Professional Products Divisions.

Andy Davies Business Development Manager TSL Middle East Andy Davies is now based full-time in Dubai as Business Development Manager having previously worked for a number of years in TSL’s UK Office. During this time Andrew architected a number of successful designs for TSL including innovative file based HD solutions for Telkom Media, TVNZ and the Northern Ireland Assembly. Prior to joining TSL, he was with Siemens IT Solutions and Services and managed a number of projects involved with converging IT and broadcast platforms. Starting his career with BBC Technology, he worked across all areas of radio, television, IT and a period at the BBC’s Research & Development facility at Kingswood Warren. Andrew’s strong IT and storage experience has fostered a special interest in architecting solutions involving the integration of traditional broadcast hardware, commodity IT hardware and complex software; today this typically means HD file based workflows, archive systems and MAM.

ART OBs

ART commissioned leading UK based independent systems integrator TSL in 2007 to design and build two HD production trucks and associated generator/storage trailers.

ART’s High Definition Trucks OB1 and 2 rolled out of TSL at the end of the summer 2007, where they completed their journey to Saudi Arabia by sea. The first use was for the new Saudi Arabian football season.
