Products Warranty Terms and conditions
• A repair warranty is to apply whereby the product
should be returned for repair with no replacement and an exchange
shipping policy is also to apply.
• TSL offers a seven day out of the box failure policy
together with an exchange shipping policy. That is, if a product
fails out of the box within a seven day period of delivery,
a replacement unit will be shipped.
• A temporary replacement may be available where, for
operational reasons, it is imperative that service is continued.
The customer will be asked to enter into a ‘loan agreement’
for the duration of repair.
• All faulty equipment returned to TSL for repair will,
where possible, be returned to the customer within seven working
days.
TSL Returns Procedure
Please telephone +44 (0)1628 676200 (Fax: +44 (0)1628 676299)
and ask for Customer Support, detailing the model and serial
number of the equipment, who will provide a Returns Number.
This will enable us to track the unit effectively and will
provide some information prior to the unit arriving.
For each item, this unique Returns Number must be included
with the Fault Report sent with the unit.
A contact name and telephone number are also required with
the Fault Report sent with the unit.

Packing
The original TSL packaging, when available, should always
be used when returning equipment along with all accessories
and manuals.
Please ensure that the unit is packed properly to avoid any
additional damage as any additional damage will be chargeable.
TSL recommends that you insure your equipment for transit
damage and loss.
If equipment from TSL following
repair is received in a damaged condition, the damage should
be reported to both TSL and the carrier immediately.
Warranty
All TSL professional broadcast products have a 12-month warranty period commencing from the date the unit leaves the factory. This is a return-to-base warranty and TSL will, whenever possible, return repaired equipment within seven days. If you are using a TSL product in a critical on-air environment, let us know and if possible we'll provide a loan unit to keep your system operational while we undertake the repairs.
Quality control
TSL's products are thoroughly tested before despatch. We're so sure of the standard of our quality control that in addition to the standard return-to-base warranty, we also offer an additional guarantee. If a new TSL product fails within seven days of receipt, contact TSL immediately and we'll ship a replacement
product straight away.

Environmental Compliance Declaration
Background
TSL recognises its obligations as a manufacturer to operate its business in an environmentally responsible way. It is TSL’s aim to comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and corporate requirements and, where appropriate, adopt more stringent standards for the protection of the environment and the communities in which the company operates.
Policy
TSL manages its business and is collaborating with our suppliers to comply with the European Union Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (“RoHS”) Directive (2002/95/EC), taking effect July 1, 2006 and similar restrictions in other jurisdictions. The RoHS directive prohibits the sale of electronic equipment containing certain hazardous substances such as lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (“PBB”) and polybrominated diphenylethers (“PBDE”) above certain minimum levels in the European Union.
Methodology
Compliance with all relevant legislation, taking into account any appropriate exemptions, is achieved based on competent design and manufacture and on assurances from suppliers of components, sub assemblies and other items which form an integral part of the products supplied by TSL. Products are not routinely tested for environmental compliance and this declaration of compliance reflects TSL’s best endeavours and due diligence to ensure, as far as is reasonably possible, that TSL’s products are environmentally compliant.
Limitation
TSL bases its knowledge and belief on information provided by third parties and, in certain circumstances, laboratory test results and makes no representation or warranty as to the accuracy of such information. TSL has taken, and continues to take, reasonable steps to provide representative and accurate information but may not have conducted destructive testing or chemical analysis on incoming materials and substances. In no event shall liability arising out of such information exceed the total purchase price of the product supplied.
